Following on from the exciting news about our new pig, another fantastic announcement is that we are going to be running an event at this year’s So Sligo food festival.
We are teaming up with Eithna O’Sullivan, the cookery school manager at Source Sligo, to run a cookery demonstration showing you some easy and tasty recipes that you can cook at home with your kids – or, even better, that they can cook for you!
Our own Saucepan Kids will be on hand to help Eithna prepare some delicious dishes but we’re not too sure who will be helping who…
It will be taking place in the Source Sligo Cookery School at 3:30pm on Saturday 19th May.
The So Sligo food festival, now in it’s third year, promises to be a memorable weekend, running from Thursday 17th until Sunday 20th May with loads of activities including:
- World Irish Stew, Professional Chef & Amateur Competitions
- Connacht Gold Junior Chef Competition
- Sligo Signature Dish Competition
- Food Village
- Cookery demonstrations, Talks, Films & Tastings
- Food Trails & Farm Walks
- Street Entertainment
- Kiddie Activities
