Here is a recipe for a very quick, tasty and healthy banana and raspberry smoothie, the kids love them though they can lead to brain freeze as they like to call it!
This recipe makes around 1.6 litres which pretty much fills our blender so adjust your ingredients according to your family size and blender capacity!
2 ripe bananas
0.75 litres of apple juice
6 tbsp natural yoghurt
400 grammes of strawberries - frozen or fresh
Hand full of ice cubes if using fresh strawberries
Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blitz well - that's it!!
The children can pretty much make these smoothies on their own with a little supervision.
