When we were living in the UK, we bought a Pampered Chef My Safe Cutter children’s knife for the kids to use in the kitchen. It has a rounded point and dull serration, but is sharp enough to cut food and has been a massive hit with the little ones – in fact we should have bought 3!
You can’t expect your child to be turning out perfect julienne carrots and it is still a blade so requires supervision but it really helps them to get involved in the cooking process.
