Honey-baked rhubarb

This honey-baked rhubarb is really tasty with natural yoghurt and muesli for breakfast.

Saucepan Kids - honey-baked rhurbarb with home grown rhubarb - things to do with rhubarb

 500g rhubarb cut into 5 - 10 cm lengths
 Juice and grated zest of 1/2 large orange
 2 tbsp runny honey

Preheat the oven to 150C / gas mark 2


Put the rhubarb in an oven proof dish that's big enough to hold it in a single layer


Scatter the orange zest and pour in the juice


Drizzle the honey over and mix


Cover the dish with foil and bake in the oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour. It shouldn't turn into mush.
