We love this marinated sticky chicken recipe because it is incredibly easy and really tasty and will usually always make an appearance at one of our family BBQs.
This chicken is also delicious cold then next day for a picnic or school lunch.

Pre-heat oven to 170 C (338 F)
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl/measuring jug
With a sharp knife, slice into the chicken pieces (to help the marinade work it's magic!)
Place the chicken and the marinade in a sealed bag
Give it all a good mix and place in the fridge for a few hours (overnight if possible)
Spill the chicken and the marinade out into a deep baking tray
Cook for an hour (basting and turning the chicken regularly)
When cooked through, finish off on a BBQ (if using)
Serve with new potatoes and a crunchy green salad
The kids can create the marinade pretty much on their own as the amount of ingredients aren't exact and they love eating these as well as they can get a bit messy!
Variations
While the oven is on, roast some peppers, tomatoes, courgettes and onions for approx 40 minutes to serve instead of a salad.
